The design transports guests to this bygone era through custom leather banquettes, terrazzo floors, brass hardware and lighting, and carefully curated period details. Distinct dining rooms feature authentic memorabilia and custom-designed elements extending from decorative lighting to bespoke doorknobs.
The experience continues through the restaurant's service and presentation, with classic dishes and cocktails—including steak tartare, Baked Alaska and martinis—prepared tableside by formally dressed servers using custom-designed rolling carts.
In collaboration with the team behind the renowned speakeasy and cocktail bar Employees Only, I-Beam Design created Zeppelin for a prominent West Village location with a storied past of its own.
Inspired by the glamour of 1920s airship travel, Zeppelin imagines the journey of privileged passengers arriving in New York and continuing their evening at legendary establishments such as Delmonico’s and The Stork Club.
